Strengths in the field:
While at Western Carolina University, she participated in a grant program to prepare pre-professional speech-language pathologists to work with the severe and profound population. She enjoys working with both the pediatric and adult populations in a variety of settings and utilizing her skill sets ranging from language, speech, and fluency to swallowing disorders.
She has several advanced licensure and certifications including:
- Advanced Licensure and Teaching Certificate in Severe and Profound Disabilities
- Preparing Pre-professional Speech-Language Pathologists to work with the severe and profound population
- Electrical Stimulation Techniques for Swallowing Improvement
- VitalStim® Certified
Personal Interests:
Stephanie grew up in Asheville, NC, which is where her parents still reside. She’s fortunate enough to be able to enjoy both the mountains and the beach! Stephanie also enjoys working out.
